Coffee Tea Cacao Expo and HORECA Expo unite under the new name CAFEX.
From 2027, Coffee Tea Cacao Expo, one of the largest international business exhibitions for professionals in the coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate industries, and HORECA Expo, an exhibition for the hospitality industry, will be held under a single brand — CAFEX.
The combined event will be held for the 14th time on 14–16 April 2027 at Timiryazev Centre in Moscow. CAFEX will become a single professional platform for representatives of the entire coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate industry value chain, as well as foodservice professionals.
Over three days, more than 250 exhibiting companies will present their products and solutions across two key areas.
The “Everything for the coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate industry” area will bring together suppliers of raw materials, equipment and accessories, and producers of freshly roasted coffee, exclusive teas, bean-to-bar chocolate, cocoa and confectionery. Educational events, professional championships for baristas, roasters and tea masters, and award ceremonies for the winners of the Chocolate of the Year and Project of the Year awards and recipients of the honorary Person of the Year title in the coffee and tea industries will hold a special place in the programme.
The “Everything for coffee shops, bars and restaurants” area will feature equipment, tableware and textiles, food and beverages, automation technology, furniture and décor, baked goods and desserts, as well as solutions for the fast-food and ready-meal segment. The exhibition will host the alcoholic mixology championship for the second time and, for the first time, a non-alcoholic mixology championship, creating a new platform for demonstrating professional skill and contemporary trends in the beverage industry.
The CAFEX exhibition will be divided into six themed sections:
• Coffee, tea and cocoa
• Beverages and ingredients
• Equipment
• Kitchen and ready meals
• Technology and design
• Baking and desserts
The extensive exhibition and business programme will be relevant to coffee, tea, cocoa and chocolate professionals, as well as owners and managers of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries and confectioneries. The programme will cover a broad range of current industry topics, from raw materials and technology to business management and consumer trends.
Three tasting zones will operate throughout all three exhibition days, where visitors will be able to discover products from leading Russian roasters and coffee suppliers, taste espresso-based drinks and sample original mixology creations.
CAFEX will bring together more than 20,000 producers, suppliers, distributors, business owners, buyers and industry experts, creating a space for business communication, knowledge exchange, finding new partners and business development.
The exhibition is organised by ITH, which has been holding events for the food and foodservice industries for more than 25 years and is one of the key information and communication centres for the coffee and tea sector.
